Leadership Program (Ages 11+)

🌟 Grow as a Leader at Abby’s Performing Arts!


Our Leadership Program is designed for students ages 11 and up who are passionate about the performing arts and eager to develop real-life leadership skills. Participants take an active role in our summer camps, mentoring younger students and helping lead activities in a fun, structured environment.

Who Can Join?
Students 11+ years old who are excited to:

  • Mentor younger campers

  • Assist in camp operations

  • Grow as leaders in a performing arts setting

 

🎭 What You’ll Do

  • Lead warm-ups and activities in acting, voice, and dance

  • Manage groups of younger campers and assist with technical tasks

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and positive rehearsal environment

  • Apply leadership training from a mandatory May session to camp experiences

  • Prepare in advance with provided materials before each camp
     

Time Commitment

  • Attend camp daily from 8 AM – 4 PM during chosen weeks

  • Complete a mandatory Leadership Training Day in May (Saturday, 9 AM–1 PM)

 

📅 Flexible Scheduling

  • Participants may select which full weeks they’re available to join.

  • Full attendance is required during any selected week.

💡Opportunities:
Participants will actively lead activities, mentor younger campers, and gain meaningful hands-on experience. The program also builds a foundation for future academic, professional, and leadership roles.

💵 Cost

  • Leadership Training Day: Free

  • Weekly Leadership Program: $195 per week

📌 Important Notes

  • This is a structured training program, not a volunteer role. Participants are developing leadership skills through direct guidance and mentorship.

  • Students must commit to at least one full week of camp after completing the training.

Things To Know For Leadership Program

  • Arrival time: Monday: 7:30am & Tues - Fri: 8am (We are not able to accommodate early drop-off)

  • DROP OFF- Carline only. The Jupiter Police are aware that we will host a carline on Town Center Drive. Please don’t get nervous if there is a line of cars. We are cleared for carline twice per day. Please be patient and we will do our best to keep it moving.

  • Pick up: 4 pm (please be on time). We will bring your child out as your car arrives. *Day camps: TBD

  • Please do not enter the building. Only campers are permitted inside.

  • If your child is ill, please keep them home to rest and heal. Camp tuition reserves you a spot for the week at the exclusion of people on the waiting list. Camp weeks are staffed based on the number of registrations; therefore, credits or refunds are not available.

  • LUNCH: *** PLEASE NOTE: JUMBY PRICES HAVE CHANGED!

 

Bring a packed lunch or your child can purchase from Jumby Bay (Price: $8-10).

  • Burger Sliders No Cheese

  • Burger Sliders WITH Cheese

  • Grilled Cheese

  • Mini Corn Dogs

*All items come w/fries (except the Mac & Cz). Please send the cash in with your child and we will handle the rest.

  • We wait for all students to arrive before we start the day. If you will be late or absent, please let me know ahead of time so we aren’t waiting outside or to start the day for a child who will not arrive.

  • Friday show – We are THRILLED to be back to LIVE shows! Guest arrival time:1:45pm Show time: 2pm. Parking available in the free garage off Edna Hibel near Civil Society.

  • During the camp day, it is not always possible to answer the phone but we always have access to text. Please feel free to text me at this number 561-223-9650‬.
